Complaints have resurfaced in Berks County regarding absentee ballots, according to Representative David Maloney. Voters are reporting that they have not received the ballots they requested, echoing issues from previous elections.

Maloney stated, "Folks who have asked for the Berks County Board of Elections to send them absentee ballots have been calling my office for help." He noted that voters claim their requests were unfulfilled, and even when contacting the board directly, they often find the phone unanswered or are told that the ballot was sent.

The representative has expressed dissatisfaction with how county commissioners manage elections. His office frequently receives complaints about unmonitored ballot drop boxes, voting irregularities, and difficulties in obtaining or running out of ballots.

Maloney advised residents facing such issues to contact the Berks County Commissioners directly at 610-478-6136. He emphasized, "The Berks County Commissioners and the Berks County Board of Elections run the election process in Berks County."

For further assistance or inquiries, residents can reach out via email using provided links to contact commissioners individually.
