The House Committee on Small Business has issued subpoenas to the Small Business Administration (SBA), alleging a lack of transparency in the Biden administration's purported efforts to channel resources towards voter registration in a key swing state, an action they claim could be unconstitutional.
The committee served the subpoenas on SBA Chief of Staff Arthur Plews and his special adviser, Tyler Robinson, following their alleged failure to attend scheduled transcribed interviews with the committee and neglecting to submit documents related to a program that is reportedly "diverting its resources away from assisting Main Street so it can register Democrat voters" in Michigan.
According to the committee, this marks the first time Chairman Roger Williams has subpoenaed the SBA and represents the first subpoena from the committee in ten years.
