Exeter Township Senior High School issued the following announcement on Mar. 31.
With Spring approaching, our farmers will begin returning to the fields of South Heidelberg and the surrounding communities to begin planting crops. As this busy season begins for our farmers, you will notice tractors, farm trucks and other large equipment once again traveling on our roadways.
With the increased farm equipment on roadways, distracted and impatient motorists can pose a threat when safe driving practices are not observed. South Heidelberg Township is partnering with the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau to encourage Rural Road Safety Awareness. Attached to this article (below) are tips and information to help inform and educate motorists in an effort to keep everyone safe on our rural roads.
