Cornwall Terrace Elementary School issued the following announcement on Jan. 25.
Our Cornwall Terrace community didn’t just reach the goal of collecting 700 pounds of food for the Helping Harvest Food Bank, they blew the lid off of it! We raised over a ton of food…..literally! We collected over 2,000 pounds of food for our local food bank. And, Dr. Yeiser, the good sport that she is, agreed to allow the students to turn her into a human sundae if they reached the goal.
As a result, we need topping donations by Friday, February 11 to turn her into a sundae sometime that day. Please see the image below for the donations needed from students and families by grade level.
