South Heidelberg issued the following announcement on Jan. 10,
The South Heidelberg Municipal Authority authorized a sewer rate increase effective January 1, 2022. The increase in rates were the result of increases to treatment charges imposed by other municipal authority treatment plans as South Heidelberg does not have its own sewage treatment facility. A letter was sent out to all South Heidelberg Municipal Authority customers in December. Attached to this post is a copy of that letter. The letter includes the rate increase, explanation for the increase and tips to lower your water/sewer bill. Thank you.
