Cost of college went up for all students at Berks Career & Technology Center

Tuition and fees rose 3.8 percent for 2018-19 at Berks Career & Technology Center, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Pennsylvania students paid $14,559 to attend the public school this year – $539 more than the $14,020 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 92 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 28 students received grants or scholarships totaling $148,539 and 15 students took out student loans totaling more than $66,478.

Including all undergraduates (50), 34 students used grants or scholarships totaling $171,517, and 18 students took out $74,644 in federal student loans.
