83 percent of applicants to Kutztown University of Pennsylvania were admitted for fall 2018

At Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, 94 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 53 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Kutztown enrolled 8,290 students in fall 2018, including 7,372 in undergraduate and 918 in graduate programs, data shows. 8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

84 percent of undergraduates are residents of Pennsylvania, and 15 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (75 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (9 percent).

The school admitted 83 percent of the 8,112 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 24 percent enrolled.
