87 percent of applicants to Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Berks were admitted for fall 2018

At Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Berks, 90 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 60 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Reading enrolled 2,578 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 6.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

85 percent of undergraduates are residents of Pennsylvania, and 10 percent are residents of other states. 6 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (67 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (12 percent).

The school admitted 87 percent of the 1,817 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 38 percent enrolled.
