On Wednesday, March 19, former Governor Mifflin Senior High School standout Sophia Schmehl’s current college team, the Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers, lost 5-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Towson Tigers.

The game took place at Our Lady of the Meadows. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 12 p.m. at Our Lady of the Meadows against Fairfield Stags.
