Today, Congressman Dan Meuser (PA-09) addressed the House Floor to express his support for the budget resolution. He emphasized that the Republican budget resolution is designed to pave the way for President Trump's proposed bill, which aims to enhance border security, implement a strong energy policy, and maintain tax relief efforts that have contributed to economic strength.
In his speech, Congressman Meuser stated: “The Republican budget resolution sets the stage for President Trump's big, beautiful bill—delivering border security, dominant energy policy, and continued tax relief that gave us a great and strong economy. Despite what the media and the left allege, no Medicaid or Medicare benefits will be reduced—these are entirely false claims. The only reductions will be to waste, abuse, fraud, and ineligibility if found—which I believe 98% of Americans support."
