Congressman Dan Meuser has been appointed as the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations for the Financial Services Committee in the 119th Congress. In his statement, Meuser expressed gratitude to Chairman French Hill for this opportunity, stating that under Hill's leadership, they aim to advance the goals of the Financial Services Committee, the Republican Conference, and President Trump.

Meuser emphasized his commitment to ensuring transparency and accountability in the financial sector. He stated that by conducting thorough investigations and maintaining robust oversight, they intend to highlight what he described as "the negative impacts of the Biden Administration’s failed policies" while preparing for a transition to policies aligned with President Trump's agenda.

French Hill, Chairman of the Financial Services Committee, praised Meuser's active role in supporting business-friendly policies both in Pennsylvania and nationwide. Hill noted Meuser's previous experience on the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee during the 118th Congress and expressed confidence in his leadership abilities.

The Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations is tasked with overseeing financial regulations' implementation, investigating misconduct, and safeguarding financial institutions' integrity. The subcommittee will focus on promoting a pro-growth agenda while contrasting it with past policies deemed ineffective.
