When students picture their future, they picture the lifestyle they want to lead; things like the car they'll drive, where they'll live, what job they'll have, and whether or not they will have a family. What they often don't envision? How much it will cost them.
At the Financial Reality Fair, GMHS juniors were assigned an income, debt, and credit score before being set free to construct a theoretical budget. The process was eye-opening for students and a great exercise in money-management! Read the whole story at bit.ly/GMHSRealityFair.
