City of Reading issued the following announcement on Sept. 2.
With the City of Reading observing the Labor Day Holiday on Monday, September 6th, 2021, all trash and recycling collection for the week will be delayed by one day. Therefore, residents who are normally picked up on Monday will be serviced on Tuesday, and Tuesday will be picked up on Wednesday. As a result, the service will be one day behind for the rest of the week, ending with Friday, September 10th collections being done on Saturday, September 11th. The City of Reading wishes a safe and happy Labor Day weekend to all of our residents.
