Many residents have expressed their desire for more face-to-face town hall meetings, but Republican Representative Dan Meuser recently conducted a tele-town hall on March 9. Meuser, who represents Pennsylvania’s 9th Congressional District, used the event to offer a legislative update to his constituents.
This virtual meeting comes amid a growing call for more in-person engagement from local residents. Despite the push for traditional meetings, the tele-town hall format was chosen for its ability to reach a broader audience.
Residents had the opportunity to ask Rep. Meuser questions and hear updates on legislative matters affecting their district.
