Pennsylvania lawmakers are responding to a recent incident at the Governor’s residence, characterized as an attack. Congressman Dan Meuser, a Republican, shared his thoughts following another event involving political violence, where former President Trump was shot at a rally in Butler.
Congressman Meuser, who was present at the Butler rally, stated, “It’s just terrible and needs to stop.” He stressed the responsibility of public figures to denounce violence and hate speech, asserting, “One hundred percent of those who get in front of mics like this need to need to condemn any type of violence or hate speech.”
The incident at the Governor’s residence and the shooting in Butler are the latest in a series of events prompting calls for more decisive actions against political violence.
